Senator Leman moved and asked unanimous consent for the adoption of the Resources Committee Substitute offered on page 1334. Without objection, CS FOR SENATE JOINT RESOLUTION NO. 22(RES) was adopted and read the second time. Senator Halford moved and asked unanimous consent that the resolution be considered engrossed, advanced to third reading and placed on final passage. Objections were heard. The question being: "Shall the resolution be advanced to third reading?" YEAS: 15 NAYS: 4 EXCUSED: 1 ABSENT: 0 Yeas: Adams, Donley, Duncan, Ellis, Frank, Leman, Lincoln, Miller, Pearce, Phillips, Rieger, Salo, Taylor, Torgerson, Zharoff Nays: Green, Halford, Kelly, Sharp Excused: Hoffman Halford changed from "Yea" to "Nay". and so, the resolution was advanced to third reading. CS FOR SENATE JOINT RESOLUTION NO. 22(RES) was read the third time. The question being: "Shall CS FOR SENATE JOINT RESOLUTION NO. 22(RES) Requesting research on fisheries and marine mammals in the Bering Sea, pass the Senate?" Senator Kelly gave notice of reconsideration.
